Thanks very much Bill. I had few expectations of this race in terms of performance and therefore it was a very pleasant surprise to lay down my fastest time to date. It was a very rewarding day for me.

Wow – with Bro in Law’s filling in of some of the blanks makes your results even more impressive. Rain, hills, winds – they don’t seem to matter much – you are consistently steady as a rock.

Modisty is so you……lets not forget a couple of factors you did not mention. The swim started with forgetting your goggles and having to sprint back to your car from the transition area. Some might say this could have a physiological affect before the swim which is mostly a mental challenge in this event. Secondly, the bike was the toughest I’ve ever seen, with hard rain and wind. Man that has to take its toll on the time chip. Overall with those factors, you Rocked It Man!

Making choices to live alone with all sorts of adventures rather than physical collectibles has always been what defines you and in my books….never boring! While never having a real brother to look up to, you have for many years now been what I would consider the ideal role model. Let no grass ever grow under those feet….Now that would be boring.
