21st Century Mom tagged in a meme today.  Therefore according to the laws of the Interwebs (and my obsessive compulsive nature) I must respond to the call.

  1. iPods.  I have 4 of them.  The iTouch model I use at work because it synchs with my Google calendar which synchs with my Outlook calendar both at work and at home.  I also find it invaluable for travel.  Then there is the Nano which I use  for running because it is small, light and it’s battery can last through an ultra-marathon (or two).  Number 3 is the  iPod classic which I use in the car because it carries 30 Gigs of music (and is so obsolete that no one would ever bother stealing it.  Number 4 is my original iPod whose value is only sentimental, besides I can’t  even give it away.
  2. Bicycles.  I have 5.  Like all good Canadians, I have a Cervelo.  Actually I have two.  The P2C is for triathlon racing and the Soloist Team is my road bike (and my fave ride).  Celine is ride number 3, she is my winter ride and originated from the now defunct Dion bicycle company.  Number 4 bike is my Trek T1 fixed gear bike which I purchased so that I could ride it to work however I was transferred downtown and now I walk to work.  I also have a 20 year old Miyata Terra Runner mountain bike which, like my iPod Classic, I keep only for sentimental reasons.
  3. Australian Long Flat Red Shiraz. When my crazy fast paced day comes to an end, I pour myself a couple of ounces of red wine and reflect on the day that was.  It is a ritual that I very much enjoy.
  4. Cafe Artigiano – The best espresso coffee in the city.  Cafe A is the best place to escape work  for a quick  recharge.  It is amazing how your mood can improve after  5 minutes of peace, good food and delicious coffee.
  5. TiVo – It enables to me to watch only the programs that I want to watch, when I want and without commercials.  I would not want to live without it.
