For all you ADD people (like me) here is my 30 second year end review. I formatted the post in bullets so you can just skim through the whole list without getting too distracted by bright shiny things.
- Reminisced about Christmas in Hawaii
- I was voted not eccentric

- Experienced the death of a longtime companion, my dog died
- Bike porn
- I tried to harness the Internet to get a man for Sarah (my highest traffic post ever – sex sells!)
- Found my fave surfing movie
- Had a virtual non-sexual Bromance with Ironman JonnyO
- I became a non-Gay
- Discovered the HTFU approach to life
- I won my first medal in long course triathlon
- Cycled up a volcano
- Discovered a secret race fuel
- Crashed my bike in the Ride 2 Survive (at least we raised a lot of money to fight Cancer)
- I coveted the iPad
- Reminisced about doing the AIDS Lifecycle ride. It is a great cause and an amazing empowering event.
- I celebrated my 50th birthday in Zurich with my best friends.
- Finished Ironman Switzerland (my 6th Ironman)
- Went to my first concentration camp
- Saw Obama speak in Berlin
- Had a wonderful European vacation – highlights
- I sherpa’ed for my pal Cheryl at her first Ironman
- Won my 2nd medal in long course triathlon
- I got the Sustiva beatch off my back and became somewhat normal again
- Experienced sub-alpine romance
- I actually had a party
- I got a new triathlon coach
- Qualified for the Boston Marathon
- I started a new job
- Raised money to fight prostate cancer during Movember. Then rocked out at the gala celebration
- Got published – yes, I am fostering the triathlon agenda!
- Felt the stigma of living with HIV
- Won my the first gold medal – North Face Challenge 50 km
- I finished the Web Analytics program at UBC
- Had a wonderful Christmas with my family
It was an epic year for me, one that was full with challenges and many acheivements.
Can’t wait for 2009. Oh wait, it’s already here! Best get out there and start living it!
